El Grande Latte from Last to First in The Mother Goose

The Mother Goose Grade2 $300.000
Aqueduct Racetrack
South Ozone Park, Queens, NY

As a handicapper and writer, it’s always nice when you guide the public correctly. As predicted, El Grande Latte from Black N Gold Stables enjoyed getting back to three-year-olds only and spanked the Mother Goose field in the stretch drive for her sixth win in eleven starts and pushed her earnings to over half a million dollars. Congrats to the connections. Black Regazze from Nakamura broke sharp and pushed the pace the entire trip and was only bested by the winner in a game effort. No Ones Comparing from Mb Stables sat near the back and also made a big move but was unable to match strides late with the winner or the game second place finisher. Nice effort to run third.

Of the rest:

Soviet Shadow also from Mb Stables broke on top and cut out all the fractions before tiring to run fourth in a solid effort. A fantastic career so far for a filly that was purchased at auction for only $35.000.

Lifes Good from DJC Racing Stables sat midpack and then made a slight rally before tiring to run fifth.

Anoushka On Tap from Winning Link Stables sat comfortably off the speed but in good position and then simply didn’t have enough in the tank to take advantage of a nice trip today.

Valkyria from Alydar Stables saved ground and sat in fifth position most of the trip and was unable to pass rivals late.

Vavoom from Twin Towers Racing was unable to replicate her turf form today and got outrun. Tab her for a good effort when she returns to the sod.
