Electric stalked the pace and took the lead from Ukrainian Victory in deep stretch to win the Bold Ruler. Ukrainian Victory jumped out to an early lead and pulled away by 2 ½ lengths by the time the field reached the turn. El Gran du Light and Sickomode battled for second with the eventual winner holding his spot on the rail less than a length behind them.

At the head of the stretch, Electric pulled even with Sickomode and started cutting into Ukrainian Victory’s lead. El Gran du Light fell back slightly, and Public Information started his run on the far outside.

With a quarter mile to run, Electric caught Ukrainian Victory and pulled in front in the shadow of the wire. Public Information got up for third by a nose over Tormented.
