Three Year Olds Fillies

A field of eleven three year old fillies has been entered up in this years running of the grade two Raven Run here at Keeneland Race Course. It is only one runner short of a full field as many had this race picked out. Let’s take a look at the field.

1. Florence Nightingale (10-3-3-0 $129.100), trained by Mb Stables

The first filly in the field is coming into this race off of a nose defeat in the grace three Charles Town Oaks. She was just caught on the line that day and the distance is a worry to me. She has not been able to win past six furlongs so far so I’m wondering if that is her limit.

2. Vibration (12-5-2-3 $375.470), trained by Smokey Stover

Now to this filly who is coming into this race off of a big win in an allowance race at Parx where she ran an exceptionally fast time that day. She has been tried in graded stakes with no success but that last win was something else. I think she could have a shot in here.

3. Informed Secret (7-3-1-2 $32.980), trained by Night Rider Stables

A real head scratching entry in here to me is this filly who is coming into this race off of a win in a twelve dollar non two life claiming event. Granted she won easy that day but this is a monstrous jump up in class. I just can’t give her any shot in this race.

4. Dragon Wagon (9-3-2-2 $64.120), trained by LionKing Stables

Now taking a look at this filly who is coming into this race off of a win in an optional claimer at Golden Gate by an easy two lengths. She switched from sprints on the turf to a route on the dirt in there and now she cuts back to a sprint. She could have a chance if she runs big.

5. Class Status (6-2-2-1 $75.600), trained by Team 7 Illusions

The first runner for Team 7 Illusions right here and this filly is coming into this race off of a third place finish in an optional claimer at Saratoga. She did not run too bad of a race that day after being near the lead. If she sits off of it she could run better possibly.

6. Google Command (12-3-5-0 $121.090), trained by Team 7 Illusions

The other entry for Team 7 Illusions and this filly is coming into this race off of a win against Florida bred stakes company at this same distance. She ran good in there but this is a step up in class for sure so she will need to run a big race to get the job done in here.

7. Fabulous Angelina (10-4-3-0 $97.280), trained by Allinthegate

Now to this filly who is coming into this race off of a win in an optional claimer at Del Mar. She ran pretty good that day and won nicely. She is graded stakes placed but om the turf and also going long. I think she might be able to hit the board in here.

8. Queenhood (11-3-1-1 $114.920), trained by Mb Stables

The other entry for Mb Stables right here and this filly is coming into this race off of a seventh place finish in the grade one Hirsch. I do think she is better sprinting so the cutback should help but this is a tougher field than she has ever beat. She will have to run a huge race.

9. Steady Sneaks (14-2-4-5 $197.590), trained by John Henry

The first of two runners from the John Henry barn right here and this filly ran fifth in the grade two Zenyatta in her last start. She only got beat a length that day and she ran a good race in there. I think she could win against these if she runs that race.

10. La Marseillaise (8-3-0-3 $58.600), trained by Witeout Stables

This filly here has been pretty good so far in her short career but all have her races have been in the claiming and starter allowance ranks. She won a starter allowance at Belmont in her last start but this is a big jump up in class. I just can’t give her much of a chance.

11. City Of Soul (11-4-1-1 $234.000), trained by John Henry

Last runner in the field and also the other runner entry for John Henry in here and she is coming into this race off of a win in the Dogwood at Churchill. She won by a neck that day and ran a really good race. I think she has a good chance to win if she overcomes the post.

Summary

Well there is definitely not a standout in this field that just jumps out at you but there is still some good filiies in here. My top pick is City Of Soul even from the outside post because she ran a big race last time. Good luck to all in the field.
