Stalked the lead and had way too much in the finish for his rivals. This was little more than an open allowance which he was proven in, but he clearly has ability and the mile looks like a perfect trip for him.

Went on speed but was pretty disappointing when the stick came out batting away at the one pace for second. He continues to be full of promise, but just doesn’t seem to be able to string his performances together.

3rd Black War Axeman Pennington F

Stayed on for third but had no real chance with the first two and probably ran up to his best today.

4th Sky Rider Nakamura Stables Bejarano R

Went to try for the lead but was never left alone and fell away pretty tamely in the end. Lightly raced so he can be excused this against experienced three-year-olds.
