Evidently, Jerry Garcia Racing wanted to give Excoriator a work-out, because that wasn’t much of a horse race.  The well-bred 3yo colt toyed with the group in Saturday’s The Harrods Creek, here in Louisville, winning as much the best and in stakes record time, stopping the clock at 1:21.04 for the seven panels.  Kona nosed out Toy Dolls for the second spot, then a gap of two back to Odd Man Our, nabbing the minor share.  Five lengths covered the field, and the main CD oval was listed as Fast.  


Excoriator cruises home
