Fearless Move sat a wide third for the first half mile of the seven-furlong contest. Around the turn for home, he made a move that took him from third to first in a little over a quarter mile. From there it was just a matter of margin. He quickly pulled away by two, but Nolo Contendere cut into that lead with a big move that got him up for second by a length.

1 Fearless Move (Asgar) Stalked the pace and took the lead in the stretch to win by a length.

2 Nolo Contendere (Riggins Racing) Came from mid-pack with a late move for second.

3 Afar (D J C Racing Stables) Came from off the pace for third.

4 Grandest Lady (La Canada Racehorses) Trailed early, made a late move for fourth.

5 Break From Holly (Nakamura Stables) Steady mid-pack run for fifth.

6 Wicked Ride (High Voltage) Led early, faded badly to finish sixth.

7 Ponderosa (Smokey Stover) Never a factor.

8 Chateau Margaux (Mo Mentum Farm) Never a factor.

9 Lady Narloff (TwinTowersRacing) Second early, faded to last.
