Three Year Olds Fillies

And here we have a field of eight three year old filly turf runners that are entered up for the first running ever of the Jockey Club Oaks here at Belmont Park. It is a nice field on paper so let’s take a look at the field.

1. Folsom Tradition (6-1-1-0 $58.710), trained by Team 7 Illusions

The first filly in the field is coming into this race off of a close eighth place finish in the grade one Beverly D at Arlington. She usually likes to come from off of the pace so some quick fractions will help her out quite a bit.

2. In Utero (8-1-1-2 $85.850), trained by Rampage Stable

And this next filly will be coming into this race off of a maiden breaking score at Saratoga on the dirt. She will be making her first start ever on the turf in this race but her works are pretty strong. She will still need to be able the surface in an actual race to have a shot.

3. Easier Said (10-4-2-2 $710.080), trained by Mb Stables

Another one that is coming out of the Bevery D right here and this filly won that grade one race and she will be looking for another big stakes win in here. She looks very tough to beat in here and if she runs that same race she will be very tough.

4. Diamond Di (8-2-2-2 $93.090), trained by Aer Stables

And the next filly is coming into this race off of a fourth place finish in the grade three Lake George at Saratoga. She did not run too bad that day but I do think that this race is way too far of a distance for her. I don’t see her staying the distance at all.

5. The Universe (10-1-1-4 $207.120), trained by Chili King Stables

This next filly is coming into this race off of a very good third place finish in the Saratoga Oaks in her last start. She was sold after that race though so this will be her first start for her new trainer. She should have a pretty good shot in here.

6. She Great (14-3-3-3 $191.780), trained by Team 7 Illusions

And another one that is coming out of the grade one Beverly D tight and this filly ran a good sixth place finish in there that day. She did win a stakes race before that and I think she could have a decent chance in here.

7. Burnkk (7-2-0-0 $132.000), trained by Night Rider Stables

Here is one that is coming out of statebred stakes race at Saratoga which she did win. She won by a neck that day and ran a good race but this is a big jump hp in class for sure. She will have to run huge to win in this spot.

8. Cest And Me (13-4-1-1 $484.400), trained by D J C Racing Stables

And the final filly in the field right here is coming into this race off of a second place finish in the Saratoga Oaks where she ran a huge race. She was only beat a head that day and if she comes back with the same effort she could have a huge chance to win.

Summary

A very good field for this race for sure and there are a couple different fillies in here that could get the job done. I think my top choice is going to be Easier Said but Cest And Me is right there with her. Good luck to all in the field.
