This field is packed with talent, but the ones to watch are lined up on the inside. Here’s the field:

1 Poetic Panther (Maletto)

In the money every time she sets foot on a track. Last win came in allowance company at PIM. Won the Sweet Life (Grade 3) four back. This one should have a say in the outcome, and a win wouldn’t be a surprise.

2 Breath Of The Bride (Smokey Stover)

Another outstanding filly. Her only misstep came sprinting in an allowance at HOU. Other than that, she has never finished off the board. Good chance to get a piece of the purse.

3 Lozen (Fabone1)

Back-to-back wins coming into this race including a $5.000 MSW at TUP and the Grade 3 Providencia Stakes at SA. Very nice auction pickup. If she likes the shorter distance – and she should – she will be one to contend with, too.

4 Rekindle (Mb Stables)

Things have been kind of up and down for this filly. She is still looking for her first win since October. Switched from turf to dirt and back again, she’s been close including a second in her last start in the $225.000 Mamzelle but she’s going to need her A game to compete against these.

5 Stellar Strength (Mb Stables)

Sixth in her only stakes try, this filly is coming in off an allowance win. She is two-for-two on turf, but this is some stiff competition. Does her best running on the lead, but it remains to be seen if she can stay there to the end.

6 Telecommute (Nakamura Stables)

Back-to-back wins for this filly. Last win was a dead heat in allowance company at HOU. Trying stakes level for the first time and will have to step up her game a bit to beat these.

7 Pelucha (Avenue Z)

Won the $100.000 Hilltop Stakes last start. Another one that likes the view from the front. She’s the most experienced of the bunch, and that might give her an edge. She’ll need it in this field.

8 Valles Marineris (Sheffler Stables)

Sixth in the Hilltop Stakes last out. Has only an allowance at PEN and a $5.000 allowance dead heat in the win column. Looks a bit outclassed in this field.
