  7  FG    Palisano Memorial Stakes

If it’s good for the ladies, it’s good for the guys… five sprinting LA-bred gents will go six panels in the Palisano Memorial Stakes, here at FG.  Man, there are some nice horses in this one… when you consider that this is a state-bred stakes, it’s just all that more impressive.  Let’s give Two Million the slight edge to get the job done… he’s been running in mostly open races, with mixed success, but he won the Crescent City Derby over this surface last year and was fourth in his only other LA-bred effort.  This should be a bit softer than his recent trips to the gate, so…  I like inside/outside for the other two spots, as Indiscretion has been tough, showing a 1/2/3 from his last three, all vs. LA-bred horses.  Son Of A Sailor has been right there with that rail foe, and either of those should be tough cookies.  This should be a fun one to watch!
