Was closing fast when third beaten a length in his ’16 debut.  That was on the left coast at SA in the San Pascal (GII).  Only one win last season and that was an OptAlw race here in NY, so maybe this is close enough to Elmont that he gets some home cooking.  Despite the single win, I think he has a big chance to get the job done v. this group and I’ll use his on my tickets.

Nice win on the come back for the new barn, but how many times have we seen this barn take them from claimers to graded wins.  That was a wire to wire win down at the FG which is a far cry from what had been his normal mode of running.  Can he pull off the same thing here?

He’s won three of his last four including his ’16 debut, taking down an OptAlw group at TUP by a half length while coming from the back of the pack.  He’s been on the board in 13 of 15 lifetime starts so you know he’s almost always around when the hand out checks.  Expect more of the same in this one. 

Nice win to kick off his ’16 season taking a group of FLA-bred high-end claimers to task.  He has nine wins from twenty-two lifetime starts, so He is used to having his picture taken.  This is a bit of a step up but I’m not surprised that they’d want to throw him into a black-type race to see how he does.  Give him a hard look.

Has doe well since switching barns and ran a big race over this track while facing stakes types in the Queen City Hcp last out.  Only beaten a neck there and should be right in the thick of this one as well.  He has four wins from only thirteen starts so he has the ability and should run big here today.
