That’s more like our 2yo handicapping… swing and a miss.  In the end, The FL Sire Stakes – Susan was all about Quail Trot as the Wood Duck Stables trained bay filly pulled away late to take this one by two widening lengths, while stopping the clock at 1:22.15 for the seven panels over the GP main oval, which was Fast.  Bridal Bouquet closed a late gap to grab the second spot, a neck better than Thousand Hour in third, then another length to Good Waves in fourth.  Only four lengths from first to worst in this battle.
