Foot on the Gas Pedal for Noemi in The Susan

The FL Sire Stakes – Susan (Fillies Two Years Old Foaled In Florida)
-Gulfstream Park
Hallandale Beach, Florida

Noemi for Maxmillion Farm is a tiny girl at only fifteen hands, but she also is game. Noemi showed gas in both her lifetime starts and went a tightly held 45.2 half mile in her maiden breaker where she cruised home by two open lengths. Conformation says that seven furlongs is within her range and no reason to think otherwise. However, her jockey jumps ship for Off The Mark from the Asgar barn and that move causes slight concern, although human connections are both dangerouse to bet on or off in my experience. “Mark” also has gas and will have to press from the outside gate in this seven horse field to stay in contention. Neon Knight from Maleto eyeballs a third straight score, but also makes a somewhat strange move coming back to dirt after two wins on turf. Looks like she should get an easy stalk and pounce trip if able to reproduce the same number on the surface switch.

Of the rest:

Spy Hope, also from the Asgar barn made up a ton of ground routing in a visually impressive performance but will need to stay within closer striking distance here.

Bubble Bath, also from Maxmillion Farm will probably sit midpack and try to pounce. Horse has improving numbers and distance would seem ideal for the stable’s plan B.

Texas Fear was claimed by Mb Stables and that is enough to get any prudent handicapper to take notice. Trainer wasted no time in trying the old, protected allowance confidence builder at Fonner Park, but things didn’t exactly go as planned. Conflicting info must be considered before going too deep at the windows.

Heavenly Palace from the Bigking barn appears to want turf and also gets stuck on the rail. Need to see much more before recommending to the betting public.
