Another day, another big performance from the Big Barn… yawn!  All kidding aside, in what was a hard-fought win, Mb Stables‘ Miss Fury runs down stable-mate, Stellar Strength, to take Sunday’s Franklin Stakes (GII), here in Lexington.  The winner covered the five and a half furlongs in 1:02.49, over the firm lush KEE turf… that’s the first victory in this race since 2018, when City Life got the job done.  Smokey Stover’s Mo Ki Mo was another neck back in third, then a length to Maxmillion Farm’s Red Flags getting the minor share.  Only two lengths from first to worst in this hot battle.
