CNL Race 1 1 1/8M – Turf
Purse $250.000
Three Year Olds
1st Freaky Onez, trained by Maxmillion Farm
A very big win for this runner here as he got his first ever stakes and graded stakes win of his career. He sat in a good stalking position early and then he pulled away easily to win by two lengths in the end. He ran the distance in 1:45.48 and earned $150.000 for the win.
2nd Blame It On Luck, trained by Mb Stables
The third second place finish against stakes company in a row for this horse. He sat right behind the leader early on and he was sitting in a good spot but they did go pretty quick for this distance and he kind it turned out late in the stretch.
3rd Ghost From The North, trained by Maxmillion Farm
Not a bad run from this runner either as he closed from dead last to get up for third behind his stablemate. He was last early on and he made up some ground on the tired runners but the top two had to much left for him to catch up.
4th Mucho Baked, trained by Spankys Barn
Not a terrible run from this horse as he ran alright to at least hit the board in this race. He was near last early and he ran on well enough to at least hold for fourth and get a couple bucks out of the race. He didn’t run that bad of a race.
4th King Niagra, trained by John Henry
A bang up race from this runner right here as he tried to take this field wire to wire but he just set too quick of a pace to hold on going this distance. He also had to fight for the lead most of the way and that just took too much out of him.
Summary
Well this was pretty much a walkover win for Freaky Onez as he just pulled away very easily from this field to earn his first ever graded stakes win. He ran very good and won very impressively. Congratulations to Freaky Onez and Maxmillion Farm.
