The Dania Beach – GIII
GP Race 4 1M – InTurf
Purse $100.000
Three Year Olds
A group of twelve three year old turfers are going to be lining up for this years grade three Dania Beach going a mile over the Gulfstream Park inner turf course. There is some very good and talented runners in this race and it is going to be an exciting race for sure. Now lets take a look at the field.
1. Ugly Outcast (7-2-3-0 $92.200), trained by Aer Stables
The first of the three runners from Aer Stables right here and this horse has a pretty dance in here I think. He is coming off of a second place finish in a statebred stakes race at Aqueduct where he got beat by a neck. He has never won on the turf but I think that he has an honest shot.
2. Brilliant Glitter (6-2-1-0 $107.400), trained by Estero Farms
This horse right here hasn’t been seen in a little over two months and the last race that he won was a stakes race up at Aqueduct on their turf course. He is a pretty solid horse and I think he will have a pretty good shot for sure if he runs the same race that he did last time.
3. Que The Band (5-2-0-1 $68.680), trained by Aer Stables
The second of three entries from Aer Stables is this Louisiana bred who is coming into this race off of a win in an allowance race over here at Gulfstream Park. He won pretty nicely last time out and I think if he runs that same race he will be very live in this race for sure.
4. Devilish Details (6-3-1-1 $101.600), trained by Mb Stables
The first of two from Mb Stables is this runner right here who is coming into this race off of two wins in a row in allowance company including his last race which was his first time going a mile. He won that day and will try to make it three in a row in this spot and I think he has a nice shot to do just that.
5. Warino (5-2-1-0 $65.000), trained by D J C Racing Stables
Another stakes winner in this field is this runner right here who is coming off of that stakes win in the Logan Stakes at Santa Anita in late December. Before that he was tenth in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf so he has ran in some tough races. I think he has a legitimate chance to win this race.
6. Healthy Status (4-2-0-0 $55.300), trained by First Class Stable
Once again we come across a stakes winner in this field and this horse won the Atlantic Beach in early November at Aqueduct going six furlongs over the turf there. He tried a route for this first time last out and he didn’t run too well but that may have just been a clunker in my opinion.
7. American Fighter (6-2-0-1 $70.680), trained by La Canada Racehorses
Although this horse is not a stakes winner like some of the others he is stakes placed. He ran third in the Kittens Joy here at Gulfstream last time which he lost by three quarters of a length. He ran a solid race that day and should be tough in this spot with just a little extra distance in this race.
8. Magne Bern (6-3-1-0 $142.680), trained by Gdp Inc
Well here is another stakes winner right here who won the Kittens Joy last out and beat the horse right next to him. Before his last race he ran second in the grade three DeMille Stakes at Del Mar where he got beat by a neck. He will be very tough in this spot if he runs like he has in his last two.
9. Confined (5-2-1-0 $89.500), trained by Mb Stables
And now to the second runner from Mb Stables is coming into this spot after running second in the Logan Stakes at Santa Anita where he got beat by a half length. He ran pretty well that day and if he ran the same kind of race in this spot he will have a decent shot to upset somebody.
10. California Chrome (2-1-0-0 $24.200), trained by Aer Stables
And finally to the last runner of this Aer Stables contingent and this is what appears to be probably his least looking chance to win this race. He just bought him for a price tag of one hundred dollars just five days ago so if he will need to run a big race to show that it was a good purchase by Aer.
11. City Of Bones (4-1-1-1 $44.600), trained by John Henry
Now this horse dipped into a maiden forty dollar claimer last out but that was just to get a win for sure because in his start before that he ran third in a one hundred dollar stake race. He crushed that maiden race by four lengths and may come into this race with some more confidence. I think he an alright chance.
12.Be One (4-2-0-0 $171.600), trained by Gdp Inc
The highest earner in the entire race right here and that came from a two hundred and fifty dollar statebred race that he won at Belmont on the dirt. I’m not sure how he is going to handle the turf because this is going to be his first race over it and he has a very difficult post to overcome.
13. Lucky Kommand (5-2-2-0 $30.500), trained by Barcelona Farms

Summary
Well this is a full field for sure and there is definitely some very nice horses in this field and this should be a very competitive race. There is a bunch of stakes winners and stakes placed horses in here that should be very well matched up with each other. Good luck to all in the race.
