     Have started for a claiming price of $8.000 or less since 1/1/2021.

Sprinters will be the name of the game as we look at the field for the CC Express, and we have a full field of twelve set for this six furlong dash.  I think Clairvaux will make some noise in this one, as he’s been close in just about all starts this year, and was fourth in open stakes company, over this surface, in his most recent start.  No doubt he loves the distance.  I’ll put Artesianic in the second spot and would probably take him as the top choice if not for the two extra pounds after winning the Liberty Bell at PRX last out.  Another like that and he could be a tough cookie… tough enough that the Green Card picks him second as well.  He puts Bad Day Pay Day on top and he’s been perfect since being haltered for $12.50 back in July, so I get the ‘like’ for this one.
