For Two Year Olds Foaled in NY

#1 Million Dollar Baby (Smokey Stover) Just one start for this colt. Won at first asking in MSW company at CT. May not have enough experience to compete here.
#2 Inglourious Basterds (Smokey Stover) Another one with a single start. Another one that won at first asking in MSW company. Another one that may be hurt by lack of experience.
#3 Insilca (First Flight Stable) Didn’t win at first asking but has had some experience since breaking his maiden in State bred MSW company at BEL in May. Finished a close second in the Skidmore but didn’t fare as well in his last start. Needs a big effort.
#4 Joakim (Fractious) Stakes winner in state-bred company. Won the Bongard two starts back but couldn’t repeat that performance in his last start before coming here.
#5 Timeless (D J C Racing Stables) Coming in off back-to-back wins, including a victory in the $100.000 state-bred Notebook last out. May be a bit outclassed, but I wouldn’t count him out.
#6 Domiano (Night Mare Racing) Broke his maiden at SAR and followed that up with a try at Grade 1 company but couldn’t hit the board. Dropped back down to allowance level and put in a nice performance to finish second by a head.
#7 Tough Customer (Mb Stables) Won the $200.000 Sleepy Hollow last out. This gelding has never finished worse than third in six starts and looks like the one to beat here.
#8 Iron And Steel (TwinTowersRacing) A lot of experience for this colt but he hasn’t gotten back to the winner’s circle since his maiden win at WO in May.
#9 Default Setting (Mb Stables) Another stakes winner with a victory in the $200.000 Funny Cide. Like his chances here.
#10 Vieux Jeu (Acber Farms) Second in the $500.000 KD Juvenile, then followed that up with an off-the-board performance at graded level. Dropped back down to allowance level and won at CD last out. Should be competitive here.
#11 Skill Not Luck (Axeman) Claimed in September for $32.000, then finished second in the Sleepy Hollow for his new connections. Couldn’t get it done in graded company last out, but he should like this spot much better and could get a piece of the purse.
#12 Dmitrii (Arindel) Broke his maiden at first asking by six lengths. Tried stakes level after that but didn’t make it back to the winner’s circle until he went back to allowance level. Last out he won the $200.00 Bowman Mill and could be primed for another win here.
