Out to the left coast and a full field set to go a flat mile on the lush SoCal lawn in the City of Hope Mile (GII) and this one carries BC hopes and dreams along with the purse.  I’m going to go with the “hot horse”, and as lightly raced as Tower Isle is, only making for starts to date, that win at KD stamped him as a horse that must be respected in a big, big way.  I know that the field races can be quirky events, but this rascal looks like a horse that can whop on ’em, no matter the venue.  Let’s put King Z in the second spot… two wins this season, and they were two big wins.  The distance is a bit baffling, as he usually is more of a classic/marathon type, but the barn certainly the best of the best and he shows some quick five furlong works, so you can kind of see a plan here.
