The trainer did a great job in turning this $4.000 claim into a $40.000 maiden claimer winner last time and gives her the chance to take a massive step up again today. She is certainly working well enough, and her win came over this course and distance, so she must be respected.

A real solid type, but her win record is surprisingly poor. She looked improved in her last start over this course and distance and is another who has a chance if not an obvious one. Her last work on this course was very sharp, so look out for her surprising a few.

10 Nuka Angelos Stable Gutierrez Mario 123 —

A nine-race winner, she faces a tough draw today but has been a closer from this draw before and has shown she is capable of a strong finish. A nice winner last time if the race engine plays the game, she could get over the top of them late.

11 Love Analyst Asgar Ayuso A 123 —

As usual, the race engine dictates her running stye and from this draw she has been a closer in the past. If she has been on HL in her previous starts, it may pay to click the gaming buttons and use the wide gate speed push to get her in front and if that happens, she may pull it off. If she runs her usual closing style from this gate, well, we have all seen the wide gate power home off a fast pace, so anything is possible.

SUMMARY

Well, this is an impossible race to handicap and will just be a “stick a pin in” type race. Class and draw favor Point Of Honor, but I offer her with no confidence as my pick.
