Here we see the huge difference between real life and HRP and it is so stark a difference that one has to wonder why for the sake of reality it has been allowed to develop. The real life Giants Causeway has ten runners without a single three year old in the field. The HRP version has only one horse that isn’t a three year old in the field. Why the difference? well it is a well known fact that here at HRP the development and growth of our horses is sped up for various reasons i wont get into, but that quicker development makes weight almost impossible for our older horses to give away. That is why we see three year olds winning most of the BC races and that is why just one older horse will attempt to give eight pounds to horses who all run similar race and work times.
Anyway enough of all that lets see who will win the 2021 race:

1 Ruby Jaws             Arindel               Gutierrez Mario

Carries a little overweight for the services of Gutierrez Mario but she is a very quick filly who has won three of four starts. This draw will suit perfectly and she must be a winning chance for the in form stable.

2 Yabadabadoo             Threshold           Bahen S R

Hasn’t fulfilled early promise yet but gets the perfect draw and is back to her winning trip so gets her chance today.

3 Z Laffy One            Ace Racing Stable           Graham J

Well if you compare this one with her rivals then you would have to come to the conclusion that she should win but for the reasons mentioned above she may just find one of these too good. She has won more money than every other runner put together, has run faster times than anything else in the field has managed and she is already a grade three winner this year.
For common senses sake i hope she wins.

4 Back In Action         Mb Stables           Lezcano J

Broke her maiden last time out on her eighth start over a mile and sixteenth, i think the fact that she is even starting in this race says it all about the differences between real life and HRP.
She will probably win because there is no-one better than recognizing HRP little gamey glitches than Mb.

5 Bohemian Bourbon           Smokey Stover            Beschizza A

The winner of three and an excellent run in The matron from a wide draw this filly has the right credentials to get into this finish. I worry that she may get far too far back early on but if Smokey decides to click the magic instruction then she could may just make all for the first time in her career.

6 Peppermint Crush            Allinthegate             Bejarano R

A speedy sort at overnight level as a two year old she showed some nice improvement to take the grade three Sweet Life Stakes on seasonal debut . A winning chance but it will be interesting to see what the race engine does to her from this wide draw.

SUMMARY

I want the older horse to win but it probably wont, of the remainder of the field stick a pin in and hope for the best.
