1st Ginger Lucy The Sidley Stud Corrales G

There is little this stable can do wrong at the moment and this consistent mare seems to have been taken along on that wave of success. She has always been a good sort, but so often seemed to lack that winning edge, but this year she seems to have found a formula that works. This was a pretty easy win over what looked a very even field so it is clear she has found some improvement, and she could well go all the way to the BC.

2nd Peacestone Hunterman Stable Espinoza V

Closer to the pace today, she proved just a shade one paced at the end but was a gallant second and continues to race very consistently. Still only a four-year-old, so she has two years of possible improvement over her victor, so this was a decent effort and a second runner up spot in graded stakes this year.

3rd Voltaire Threshold Lezcano J

On the pace throughout, she gave in a bit easily today which is not like her but still managed a solid third.

4th Alice Springs TwinTowersRacing Bridgmohan S X

Not a bad effort from just behind the speed but she had little left at the end.
