1st Gleaming Spirit, trained by Mb Stables

A big win for this runner here as he backed up his last run and showed he still has it. He was stalking the leaders early on and then he ran by them pretty easily late and he ended up pulling away by a length in the end. He ran the race in 1:01.92 and earned $120.000.

2nd Chai Laffin, trained by Gdp Inc

This horse also ran a very good race to get up for second. He sat a couple lengths off the leaders early on and then made a good run down the stretch but he just could not go with the winner in the end. He still ran very well to end up finishing second no doubt.

3rd Jimmy Dugan, trained by John Henry

Also a very good run from this horse as he closed from very far back for this distance. He was next to last and about five lengths back for most of the way but he closed nicely down the stretch. He was only beaten two lengths and ran a good third.

4th Lawmen, trained by Chili King Stables

Not a bad run from this horse either as he ran a decent fourth at least. He did get in a dead heat for fourth though so he got even less cash than he could have so that isn’t great. He still ran a pretty decent and at least hit the board in here.

4th Vegas Host, trained by Nakamura Stables

Well this horse has it bad from the start because he wound up a length in front the first half of a mile. He was still right there with a sixteenth of a mile left but he ended up fading late and losing by two lengths. He still ended up running fourth at least.

Summary

Another big winner on the weekend for Mb Stables with this win in here and just an all around big race from Gleaming Spirit. He ran very quick and was .20 off of the track record for the distance here. Congratulations to Gleaming Spirit and Mb Stables.
