This filly continued building a remarkable record as she won her ninth race from twelve starts with a sweeping run which saw her prevail by a half length. Now having recorded three ungraded stakes wins it must be time to test her at the graded level but it is clear because of her small stature the trainer has been concentrating on perhaps a career as a four year old plus. Another example that small breeders with unrecognized breeding stock can breed a good one and i will be looking forward to seeing her in the future maybe even stretching out over a mile.

2nd Simple Moon Mb Stables Cancel E

Stalked the lead and stuck on well enough for second in a good effort which i feel is about her mark at the moment. An NM bred there may be some opportunities for her on the state bred scene especially as she has escaped a penalty in finishing second today.

3rd Lotta Carnival Oval Express Farms Ortiz J L

A bit one paced at the end i feel she just needed a bit further today. A fair effort but i am not sure she has really settled on a best surface or trip yet to give her any chance at a consistent form line.

4th The Black Water Arindel Franco M

As she closed up with a couple of furlongs to run i thought she would be unleashed but her run flattened out a bit and in the end. A fair effort but after her win last time i can’t help feeling she was a little disappointing.
