HRP’s Ponzi Scheme Steals Taylor Stakes

Taylor Stakes – Grade I
1 1/4 Mile Turf Stake Purse $750.000 Filly & Mare 3 Year Olds And Up.

1st Ponzi Scheme TwinTowersRacing Geroux F

This sprinter turned router turned prolific winner turned last placed odds on favorite turned another page on her remarkable career today by making all and out toughing them to win by a neck. I have no idea why she ran last in the Eatontown and first today but trying to work out things like that can give you a headache here at HRP so we must just celebrate this horse’s fourth win of the year and there are few that can say that they have won stakes races from five furlongs to ten furlongs in the space of 9 months. She made all today and the last time she did that was over 11 furlongs in the Long Island in 2023, so the writing was somewhat on the wall and the rest let her get away with a fairly easy lead. She will go to the BC now and who is to say yet another chapter may be written in this amazing career.

2nd Poetic Panther Maletto Rodriguez Jam

Looked to have a good spot but just failed to get past the winner in the run down the stretch. This horse has been ultra consistent this year and will renew rivalry in the BC where she will be among the favorites to add to her 5 wins this year.

3rd All By Myself TwinTowersRacing Bridgmohan S X

This seven-year-old continues to run her heart out in every race and stayed on really well for third today. She never looked like getting to the first two, but this is another fine effort by the consistent mare.

4th Sweet Feet Mb Stables Velazquez J R

Stalked the leader but sometimes that can leave them a little flat footed when the stretch run comes. She ended up fourth in a fair effort but may have just found these ten furlongs a little too far and may be more of a miler.
