Saturday’s Gallant Bob Stakes (GII) seemed to be a ho-hum affair as Fractious keeps the hot hand going with Hurricane Ridge, the 1.80/1 favorite getting the job done by a length, finishing the six furlongs in a snappy 1:08.74 over the Fast main oval, here at PRX.  Then, things went a bit crazy as, let’s just say, 99/1 shot and early pace setter Luna Radio took the second spot, finding every burned-out light bulb on the tote.  Another head back, C 1 4 Marines took third, then a neck to Sincere Connection getting the minor money.  It was a blanket finish from second to last, with only two lengths covering the field of eight.
