Out into the field, we have a huge purse for this group of turf stakes horses as we look at the field for The Tapit Stakes, it’s a mile and 70-yards and again, I’m too rusty to take a swing at it, so let’s let The Card do all of the work. 

The Card says Peace Pipe is the one to get past here… since Mb purchased this one from the Arindel dispersal, he has a near miss second for OptAlw100 then a solid third in the Vanderbilt, both of those on the main track.  But note the win in the Sensational Star Stakes on the downhill at SA… proof that this one can run on anything.  We go to the rail and Six Pillars for the second choice, that one fresh off of a runner-up effort in the Troy, at SAR.  He was nearly 22/1 that afternoon, and I doubt you get those odds today.  It looks like an evenly matched group, so it could be anyone’s race to win.
