So we leave SoKy and head west to Louisville for the very important CD meet, and the racing here will have a big mark on who will be going to SoCal for the ’23 BC Races.  We kick-off that coverage with the Iroquois (GIII) a flat mile stakes for the youngsters and per usual, I’m lost.  When your top choice ran dead last in his most recent, that may be proof that you have no clue, but I’m taking Free Roundhouse as the pick in this one.  Let’s get one thing clear, if it rains, all bets are off.  He looked god closing late to take the Sanford (GIII), then trudged around a sloppy SAR track to be last in the SAR Special (GII)… let’s call that like it looks and see if he can bounce back here.  Bubba Would was sixth in the SAR Special (GII) but was only three-quarters of a length back in that one, and had a win and a second vs. Tex-bred stakes horses, so he’s another that deserves a look today.
