1 Bright Side, trained by Pocket Aces Racing
Although this filly has only raced four times she has already proved herself a very consistent and gifted filly. Second on debut She won her maiden next time and then took to black type company to run a good second in the Letellier Memorial Stakes. Her fourth and last start was just a couple of weeks ago and saw her gut out a head win in the competitive Times Handicap. Her last work was pretty quick and from this handy draw she looks a very nice prospect indeed.

2 Bye For Now, trained by Mb Stables
It would be very easy to look at her record of four wins from five including the Slide Show Stakes and put this daughter of Iron Kaki straight on top of your selections for this race. However when you notice that three of those four wins came on an off track you have to begin to question her ability to win this on a fast track. Her works havent been that impressive nd unles the rains come i would be looking elsewhere for the winner today.

3 Pink Candy Stripes, trained by Barcelona Farms
Another very handy type with four wins from six she was bought at the end of her two year old career for no less than $400.000. That big purchase price looked a little high but her very nice third in the grade two Santa Ynez Stakes where she finished fast and only failed by a head to get the graded stakes win. Her closing style should be suited to a small field and you have to look at that form and give her the best chance in a small but tough field.

4 Lea, trained by D J C Racing Stables
With ony one win from eight her record looks nowhere near as good as the others but when you look at what she has done in those seven defeats you have to give her a big chance. Third in the grade one Frizette and a close seventh in the BC Juvenile Fillies she certainly deserves a win like this and the two pound allowance she recieves may just be enough to help her today. The only doubt in my mind is the trip as she has been running over route trips in most of her races but she has proved she can sprint and is a very interesting entry.

SUMMARY
It is hard to scratch any of these but unless it rains i think we can say bye for now to Bye For Now. Pink Candy Stripes and Lea share the best form whilst Bright Side has the sprint form and good works. I am siding with Pink Candy Stripes to just beat Lea but dont expect more than a length between all these at the end.
