2 WO Steady Growth Stakes 
$100.000 3yo&Up – Foaled in ON 1 1/16m Dirt 3yo 120lbs Older 123 +penalties
Saturday stakes action as the WO card has a week to go… we look at the field for the Steady Growth, a mile and a sixteenth main trace test for the ON-bred gents. Coming into this one, Too Short has a three-race win streak and has only missed the board one time this season, so I’m putting all of my eggs in one basket and will take him as my top and only selection. He was second in the Pink Lloyd over this track, vs. same, going six, and I think this distance is much better suited for his off-the pace style. The Green Card has him on top, as well, with the rail horse, Dreams Of Fire in the second spot… he was fourth in the Pink Lloyd, and then put Cioppino in the third spot… that one still looking for his first win of the season but has been facing tough/graded company.
