1 Eighteen Ninety Two Mo Mentum Farm Husbands P 120 —

This filly has been good from day one winning her maiden at the second attempt and then following up at allowance level. Those two wins came on the dirt but she was switched to the turf to run a very good fourth in the KD Juvenile and then tried for a BC spot on that surface in the Surfer Girl, but the wide draw found her out and she trailed in sixth after showing early speed. Back to the dirt and six furlongs today and racing from a good gate she should get back to winning some money for her owner.

2 Iris Chili King Stables Moreno O 120 —

A nice debut winner but like so many that win on debut she has flattened out since and ran a pretty ordinary race in a PRX allowance last time. She clearly has ability but sometimes it takes a while after a debut win for them to start improving again.

3 Sincere Authority Asgar Salles L 120 —

Two decent maiden efforts saw her breakthrough in her third attempt last time. That win was over this course and distance in a decent time so there is no reason why she can’t run into the money here.

4 Famous Last Words Mo Mentum Farm Pinto M 120 —

A maiden that finished last of four on debut, she is definitely better than that but races against more established professionals today and may find a couple too good at this stage in her career.

5 Underlined Asgar Hernandez R M 122 —

The two form horses and most likely winners in this race are drawn inside and outside with this being the main rival to Eighteen Ninety Two in my opinion. She has never run a bad race and was a strong second in the Muskoka on this track. She followed that up with a good win in the Sadie last time and gets a 2Lb penalty for that which could make the difference in a tight finish. Having said that she may be the best choice out of the two.

SUMMARY

Well, this looks like a straight match race between Underlined and Eighteen Ninety Two and with the draw and penalty there really won’t be much between them. However, in trying to come down to one horse you have to factor in the two most important things about winning at HRP and that is draw and weight so the verdict has to go to Eighteen Ninety Two.
