It’s Christmas Eve… no races… no nothing. Well, to heck with that! Let’s look at some things we’ve never been able to look at, but the new SRF gives us some info that is truly enlightening!
Where do our readers come from? How many people visit the site? How many articles are written each month? In the past, this was something that was somewhat hidden as the SRF was a microcosm of the HRP website. Now, with the new and improved (in my opinion) SRF site, we have some information that really gives a feel for “who plays the game”… or at least who’s looking at the SRF, and you’d have to think that most of those people are playing the game as I doubt that Bob Baffert or Andy Beyer are stopping by.
The new site opened in April, and surprisingly, was put together in fairly short order. With that being said, it speaks to the team work and open-minded way that Mike and Mauro have instilled in the product and those working for the SRF. In that month of April, 56 posts were published with 2,234 views. 233 visitors “took a look”. To date, October was the busiest month (BC certainly was the catalyst behind that) with 5691 views from nearly 700 visitors… pretty impressive, huh?! So, where did those visitors come from? That’s where it gets interesting –

Now I don’t know about you, but I was flabbergasted by not only the number of countries that have visited the SRF site, but also the number of hits from those countries…. and note that NZ has almost four-times the number of visits as Australia – seems NZ scores more points at EVERYTHING these days!
So in closing, I wish everyone a great holiday… please come back to see all of the wonderful writing and input that the hard working folks at the SRF put out. May all of your yearlings have Ideal all over them and best of luck in the upcoming race season! We will be here to cover it for you.
