That she is – classy and talented. Nice win in the Spinaway (GI) at SAR in her most recent – and she’s won three of her last four and was second in the other in that string. The distance is the only question here, but that’s going to be said for just about all of these. She’s the one to get past.
Tired to be fourth in the fore-mentioned Spinaway (GI) so the distance is certainly a question mark in my mind. I also think she may be a bit more happy on the green stuff than the main track, but she’s certainly shown ability on the dirt up to this point. Today is going to be a test.
Only three starts to date for this one, but you had to be impressed with that third place finish in the Spinaway (GI). Both mom and dad liked the two-turn-tango, so she should be ok with the route of ground.
AW is usually on the buying-end of great deals for fast young horses – but he sold this one for the paltry sum of $7.000 and she’s undefeated for the connections. A nice stakes win at WO last out, and her tactical speed is certainly nice. She may have some odds with her – I like her a bunch!
Another that is undefeated after a pair of wins, but her level of competition may be suspect. After breaking maiden at MNR on a wet track, she took down NY bred Alw horses at FL in her most recent. Maybe she will fool me, but I’m going to have to put my money on some others in here.
Nice win in the AP Wash Lassie at AP last out, and I think we see her dislike for wet surfaces. She’s won both of her fast-track starts and couldn’t be found in either of the wet-track races. I give her a big chance on a dry track and will skip if it rains.
Well, the barn paid a premium to get this one back after selling her in Jan. It’s a sharp outfit and they certainly weren’t afraid to put their money where their mouth is. She’s another that is better than that last out wet-track effort – if it’s dry, she should be a contender.
Broke maiden at first asking, then was dealt via the Sep 2014 Auction, and the new owner is going for the gusto, right off the bat. so they are leaving no doubt that they were happy with the purchase. This is certainly an acid test.
If nothing else, she has two things going for her – the barn is as sharp as a knife and she’s been two-turns… twice! Now those were turf efforts, and this could be a whole new ball of wax, but she looks like she still be in the middle of this one.
Broke maiden at DMR last out and AW likes her enough to go after black-type from that effort. She was quick that afternoon, but I question the distance and the quick jump up in class. Still… you don’t mess with The King.
The only other entrant to have gone two turns and she closed nicely at DMR in an OptAlw race out that. She was fourth in a GI in her return, again, closing ground late in that one. I’d be all over her if it weren’t for the post… and she may overcome that and still whip this group.
