Shiny Gold and Bullet Time went for the lead early in the LCD Ladies Sprint. After an opening quarter in 23.64, they were still stride for stride on the lead three lengths in front of Keyed Entry and another length ahead of Arc Of Charley.

As the field reached the turn, Bullet Time took the lead from Shiny Gold. Keyed Entry was third and four off the leader and it was another 1 ½ lengths back to Arc Of Charley.

At the head of the stretch, Bullet Time pulled away by 2 ½ and looked like the for sure winner. Shiny Gold was still second, and Keyed Entry and Arc Of Charley had lost even more ground. But in mid-stretch Keyed Entry on the inside and Arc of Charley on the outside started whittling away at the lead while Shiny Gold dropped to last.

Keyed Entry made a very strong stretch run and just nipped Bullet Time by a nose at the wire. Arc Of Charley finished a close third with Shiny Gold five lengths behind them in fourth.

It was the first stakes win for Keyed Entry, racing for Mo Mentum Farm, went off as the 3-2 favorite in the $100.000 six-furlong contest. Her record stands at 12-3-3-1 $114.280.

Complete Order of Finish:

Keyed Entry – Came from off the pace with a dramatic stretch run to get the win by a nose.
Bullet Time – Went to the lead on the turn and just missed keeping it to the wire.
Arc Of Charley – Trailed throughout, then made a big move in the stretch to take third.
Shiny Gold – Led early but weakened in the stretch, finishing last by five.
