When this filly gets it right, she may be one of the best in her division and today she certainly got it right. The ability to switch between running styles through instructions is a very important trait for a champion at HRP as it is often the difference between winning and losing. After deep closing in her last start, she was set on pace today and was always looking like the winner off a comfortable pace. She certainly deserves her spot against the best in November and I think she may give the others something to think about.

The trainer managed second and third here with this one the least likely of the two holding on for second. On pace with the winner, she was brushed aside by that horse but had enough left to hold on which is remarkable when you consider she was seventh of eight in an optional sprint claimer last time.

3rd All By Myself TwinTowersRacing Beschizza A

Came from off the pace but couldn’t make that tactic work she still managed third which was pretty good considering. She doesn’t usually get this far back in her races, so it was a surprise that she didn’t stay closer early on but in a tactical race she was the loser.

4th November Storm Mb Stables Gaffalione T

Looked to hold a good position behind the leading pair but just whacked away in the end for fourth. She had been a deep closer before but stalked today and clearly wasn’t as happy as the eventual winner with that tactical choice.
