I had a feeling this filly was a bit special and despite the AI doing its best she still dominated this race. Taken back, at least the AI didn’t take her too far back and to the rail, she cruised up and won as she liked, and I really feel this will turn out to be a top three-year-old filly next year.

2nd Statuette D J C Racing Stables Lopez P

Did really well from a tough draw she certainly franked her Maid Of The Mist form. I think ultimately, she will turn out to be an Oaks type and whilst the winner may be a thorn in her side next year, I do think she has plenty going for her.

3rd Takoshi Greyfriars Stable Beschizza A

Certainly, looked happier over this shorter trip and showed her usual pace throughout. This was a decent effort for a filly that could turn out to be a decent sprinter next year.

4th Marquesa Threshold Centeno D E

Had her chances but didn’t take the gap when it presented, this wasn’t a bad effort for a filly that was claimed for just $7.500
