Lady Sammyantha is one of those horses that has my number… when I pick her, she throws a (rare) off race, when I don’t pick her, she’s lights out… well, the Green Card didn’t have her in the top three, so start walking to the window.  The 6yo stalked the pace, pounced when asked and gave The Sidley Stud another big win, taking the Vinery Madison (GI) by a length, covering the seven furlongs in a very quick 1:21.45, over the main KEE oval, labelled Fast.  Queen Mother, dismissed at nearly 24/1 odds, closed a late gap to grab the second spot, just a head better than Adrift At Sea in third, then a quarter-length to Devils Bride, taking the minor money.  Six lengths covered the field.
