1^st Laffin Attack, trained by Red Square Stables

The trip was the major fear for this one but he ran out the mile and sixteenth as though he had done it all his life winning by a fairly cosy three quarters of a length. Running well back early on he picked up the leaders in hand and you would have to like his chances when November comes round.

2^nd Asklepius, trained by Dandy Dan Stables

Used his speed to make the running and did really well to keep on bravely for second. He started favourite today probably on the strength of his work time rather than his form but it was his form that suggested he may find one too good late on and that was what happened.

3^rd Fine Spirit, trained by Drabfantasy

Ran great for a maiden staying on into third. I would’ve though he will be the bet of the day if he goes back to maiden company next time.

4^th Fight The Fear, Blushing Meadows

Stalked the lead but faded to finish fourth, this was a good effort but he may be better when taken back in trip.

5^th Grade

Close enough early on he found nothing late on and either needed the run or didn’t stay the trip, time will tell which.

6^th Thunder Kruz

A little disappointing after his last run but looked outclassed today and had no real excuses.

7^th Staryour

Finished a long way last and looks destined to return to the grade he last won in.
