It was almost like the Fractious trained Last Round had the field measured from the get-go… The Green Card hands out the exacta, as cold as the Black-eyed Susan’s, and The Lang Stakes (GIII) is in the books, just that fast.  Last Round ran down Licit in the final jumps of the six-furlong dash, taking the victory by a quarter length.  It was a gap of three lengths back to Jupiter Moon in the third spot, then Love Maker another quarter length back, taking the minor portion of the purse money.  The final running time was 1:11.59 over the muddy main track, and eight lengths covered the field of seven.
