LCD Ladies Sprint Draws Four

$100.000 Ungraded Stake
Fillies And Mares Three Years Old And Upward Foaled in LA
6 Furlongs at FG on Dirt

The field may be small, but it is not without talent. Arc Of Charley, bred and owned by Team 7 Illusions, has hit the board in all but one of her eight starts this year, including a second in the Raspberry and also in the Crescent City Oaks, both for LA-breds, both with a purse of $75.000, one on dirt, one on turf. She also won the LA Legends Mademoiselle and scored a 99 SRF in the effort, beating Bullet Time (Night Rider Stables) by a length. Bullet Time, the only four-year-old in the field and the only entrant not bred by Team 7 Illusions, returned the favor in the Magnolia last out, defeating Arc Of Charley by a nose. These two seem to be the class of the field.

Keyed Entry (Mo Mentum Farm) also competed in the Magnolia, finishing fourth, just two lengths back. Her last win came in a $37.500 claimer at 1 1/16 mile. In her last start, the LA-bred Si Cima Stakes here at FG, she finished second and earned a career high 93 SRF.

Shiny Gold (Asgar) just broke her maiden at BTP in September of 2015, then tried to step up to stakes in the Si Cima but came in fourth and last by six. It’s worth noting that the only time she has raced this year. Probably needed that one as a tune-up and is working well, but this is a big step up for her.
