For Three Year Olds And Upward Foaled in LA

1 Cp Midnight Pains (T Boy Racing) Hasn’t been to the winner’s circle since an allowance win in May. Closest finish was in the LA-bred LAC Sprint where he finished second. Even so, he could get a piece of the purse in this one and a win wouldn’t be a surprise.

2 Completely Profound (Asgar) This three-year-old gelding has just a maiden win, but he has finished on the board six out of eight starts. Looks due for a win and this just might be the one.

3 Tugela Eclipse (Simmer Down Stables) Claimed for $3.500 back in May, out of a race he won by four lengths. Since then, he has been knocking at the door in state-bred company but hasn’t been able to get it done at optional allowance and stakes level.

4 Operation Filth (Iwin Enterprises) Coming in off a win in state-bred optional claiming company. In the money three of four starts this year but didn’t show much in his only stakes start back in January.

5 Ol Grange Hall (T Boy Racing) Won by 12 lengths in optional claiming company in July, but that was against just two opponents. Very close to another win at the same level in September when he finished second by just a head.
