1st Lea, trained by D J C Racing Stables
Well i said that the field would be covered by a length and i was spot on, i also said that this three year old deserved a good win after a tough career and that was excatly what happened too. Leading from the gate she set a strong pace and had enough left in the locker to score by a determined quarter length. This was a gutsy win over a trip that looked like it may be too short but that certainly didnt look the case today and we may have a new sprinting star to add to our ranks.

2nd Bright Side, trained by Pocket Aces Racing
Stalked the lead and ran on gamely but could never quite get on terms with the brave winner. This super consistent filly just keeps on winning paychecks and she is just the sort we would all like to have in our yard.

3rd Pink Candy Stripes, trained by Barcelona Farms
Ran the trail and made up ground at the end without ever getting close enough. This was a decent effort but as each race goes by the $400 price tag on her is looking more and more expensive.

4th Bye For Now, trained by Mb Stables
Well the rains didnt come for the daughter of Iron kaki but she ran creditably to be a close fourth.
