The shade of the huge oaks at the old Dupont place… we head to DEL Park for the DEL Hcp (GIII)… a mile and three-sixteenth’s main track stakes for the ladies, and we get a classy field of eight for this rendition of a race that is near and dear to me… so dear that I couldn’t even get the right race covered.   

Mb Stables has owned this race for the past three years, and sends a duo of tough ones to try to make it four.  Mo Mentum Farm also sends out a duo, and The Green Card says they are going with the Mb bred, Mo owned Acknowledge as the top choice in this one.  The 4yo was second in The Allaire Distaff at PIM last out, and the distance seem to scream her name.  Another that looks to want this distance is Wood Duck Stables’ Starving Artist… that one always seem to come running at the end, and may bring some odd to the table as well… of course, that’s leaving Mb out of the picture, and may not be the smartest things to do.
