My kiss of death continues, but if you took out the favorite and played our other choices, at least you hit the exacta.  Saturday’s LCD Ladies looked on paper to be a tough shootout, but it appears that Maletto  brought the gun to a knife fight as Painville rolled to a six length win, stopping the clock at 1:40.06 for the mile and a sixteenth, and securing her second win since changing barns after the Sep 2022 Auction.  The FG turf course was listed as firm.  Party In The Brig was forwardly placed throughout, but had no answer for the winner, settling for the second spot by a half length over Say Bye Bye in third, then a neck to post-time favorite and my my top selection Cp Chosen Farley in fourth.  Queen Cake was two lengths back in fifth. 

Painville is a 4yo bay filly by Pain – Charme Ville, by Quench, and she was bred here in LA by Childs Play.  This was her fifth win from sixteen starts, both of her seasonal victories coming since the purchase, and she now has $184.430 in earnings.  She’s currently on the Sales List, so it looks like it’s on to another home for this girl.  Congrats to the Connections!
