Nine classy ladies are headed post-ward up in Erie on Monday and we take a look at The PID Masters Stakes (GII) a six-and-a-half-furlong sprint on the PID oval.  This is a real toss-up in my mind, but I took Mb Stables and Christina G as the top pick.  Her only seasonal win came in the Winning Colors at CD back in May, but she shows a pair of runner-up efforts, along with a third, all vs graded types, and the third was last out in the Ballerina (GI) at SAR, and it was rainy that afternoon.  I think she dominates this group and runs away.  I’ll put Terra Command in the second spot, despite a pair of less than thrilling races leading up to this one.  Two wins to kick off the year, and a third on the weeds at WO, all stakes races, but she was fifth in the Great Lady M (GII) at LA and a sixth in the Hirsch (GI) at DMR… but she was only a couple lengths back and should show her class today.

A few others deserve serious consideration, but I like this pair.
