1st Data Overload Mb Stables Espinoza V

Such is the class system at HRP that we see a horse go from a little TAM optional claimer straight into a $250 stakes race and win probably easier than it did in that last effort. Taken back from her wide gate that was probably the winning of this race as she was never too far back but saved the energy that the wide gate speed push can sap. Whether this one turns out good enough for the KYO i doubt but she is clearly progressive and in the right stable to win herself some more black type.

2nd Starship Viking Mb Stables Davis D

Finished well just not as well as her stable mate despite being quicker on the gallops and with superior form. I would expect to see her back in this grade and she looks more than capable of picking one up before the end of the year.

3rd Sin City Rainbow Aer Stables Jaramillo E

Claimed for just $8 she proved what a good claim she was again today being beaten less than a length into third. All the outside draws were taken back in this race as the pace was run along quite nicely by an inner draw for once and that gave the closers a chance and they swept by as is usually the case at HRP. Two races now for the new owner and two completely different tactics, one feels that the next race could see everything come together.

4th Miss Steel Mazula Nakamura Stables Alvarado J

Even the Nak factor couldnt get this filly home but she ran well for fourth and has a decent future ahead of her.
