Mb Stables knocks down another graded win,  as Us Against The World chug, chug, chugs her way to the front in Friday’s Black–Eyed Susan Stakes, and gets the job done by a quarter length while stopping the timer at 1:50.68 for the mile and an eighth over the damp PIM main track, officially labeled Good.  The black 3yo filly, bred in FL by her owner, was never far from the pace, but unlike the last pair of races she was in, tiring was not on the menu today… instead, she dug in along the rail, found the necessary seam to get thru, and went on to take the win.  This was her third win from twelve starts, along with a pair of seconds and thirds, and she now shows $341.640 in lifetime earnings.  Congrats to the Connections!  

Nicolette came from far back, also closing towards the inside and gave the winner all she wanted, ranging up on her flank in the late stages, but it was not meant to be, today.  The winner’s stable-mate, No Ones Comparing, closed down the far outside of the race track, nabbing the third spot while nosing out the tiring Love Beer in fourth.  Seven lengths covered the field of eleven and there were no scratches.
