I’m such a knucklehead…  my last race and do I take Mb?  Nope… why would you take the best of the best?  Well, he takes the Coronation Cup in wire-to-wire fashion as Eye Catching is just that, winning this turf sprint by a half length, getting the job done in 1:02.45, a new stakes record.  Asgar’s Dont Mind A Dime gave chase the entire way around, but just couldn’t keep up with the winner in the final jumps, taking the second spot by three-quarters of a length over Alydar Stables’ Sinisoul, then a head to the post-time favorite, When Doves Cry (yes… blame The Green Card).  The turf was firm and four lengths covered the field of six.
