Mean Street wins The Elkhorn – Grade II settling near the rear of the field six lengths off the pace then ran on very strongly taking up the lead in the home stretch going on to win by two lengths from Sri Lanka with Spanish Showboat another two lengths further back in third. The winner is owned by Nakamura Stables.

How they ran.
Mean Street settling near the rear of the field in seventh six lengths off the pace then ran on very strongly taking up the lead in the home stretch going on to win The Elkhorn by two lengths.
Sri Lanka close up early racing in second then improved position taking up the lead going three quarters of a length clear of the field only to be passed by the winner in the home stretch to hold on to finish second.
Spanish Showboat broke and raced in third and finished there.
Royal Integrity broke and raced in fourth dropped back into fifth ran on past beaten horse to finish in fourth.
Chateau Angel broke in first leading the field by two lengths then just weakened back through the field to finish fifth.
Finding Faith settled at the rear of the field early then ran on past beaten horses to finish sixth.
Gullis Grenade broke and raced in sixth weakened down the home stretch to finish seventh.
Cat O Nine mid pack early racing in fifth only to weaken badly dropping back through the field to finish eight.
Hootie never in the race being eight lengths behind the pace after only four furlongs weakened even further to finish last of the nine runners beaten by the winner by sixteen lengths.
