There were one or two raised eyebrows today as the novice trainer with only 4 races under their belt showed some of the most experienced trainers on HRP how to do it. Congratulations to Midnight Racing who seems to have grasped the game better than most in a very short career.

1st Track Queen, trained by Midnight Racing
The promising works were the clue to this performance, that and an impressive
maiden win all added up to a filly who looks she is going places. The key was avoiding the outside speed push and she did that perfectly seerting herself in the stretch and winning a shade cosily by a half length

2nd Stump The Skeleton, trained by Chili King Stables
Kept on well enough but was held by the winner. This was a better effort after a failure in The Natalama last time out and she may well turn out to be a dirt sprinter going forward.

3rd Senorita Cielo, trained by Nakamura Stables
Ran the stalk and kept on well enough for third, this was a fair effort.

4th Florida Vacation, trained by Red Barn Stables
I rather liked this ones chances before the off but after taking the lead from the gate i was afraid the front runners curse would take effect and indeed it did. Only beaten a length in the end wasnt a bad effort but she found little when challenged.

5th Love Devine, trained by Wolfs Den
She made up a little ground from teh trail but remained last throughout.
