            Three Year Olds Fillies Canadian Bred

For this race we will be looking at what is essentially the Kentucky Oaks for Canadian Bred three year old fillies. We are going to see the Kentucky Oaks winner in this race though, Misty Firefox who ran a bug race to win that day. Also Mb Stables will he looking for his fifth win on the last six years in the race.

1. Snakie Sara (6-2-2-2 $34.360), trained by Fractious

The claim last out for forty dollars from First Street Stables this filly has been running in sprint races on the turf. She has been running very good in those races but this is a ginormous step up on class for her. She’s only had one start on the dirt last year at WO and she ran third but who knows if she likes it now.

2. Confidently In Love (9-3-1-3 $750.880), trained by Mb Stables

One of the two Mb Stables entries as he will try to win this race once again has a very good chance to win. She is a grade one winner and was on the oaks trail earlier in the year and almost ran in the race. Last start she was third in the Eight Bells at CD and I think she will run a big race in here.

3. Fearing Daliterri (6-2-0-1 $42.230), trained by Mo Mentum Farm

The turf filly in this race she has been on it in her last four starts with some pretty good success. She won two races in the winter at HOU and then ran a very good third last out in a stake after trying to go wire to wire. The only bad thing is I don’t think she is as good on the dirt and really not as good as this field.

4. Misty Firefox (8-6-0-0 $1,031.480), trained by Crocker Ggs

The Kentucky Oaks winner is looking to score the Canadian version of the race also. If this race happens to come with a wet track do not even think about another horse. She is three for three on the wet and won the Oaks on that type of surface. She may be the best either way though and will be my top pick.

5. Oaks (5-0-1-0 $11.990), trained by Team 7 Illusions

Kind of a why would you enter in this race. But you always got to respect a trainer who is willing to take a shot and throw up the money to enter and run. I guess the only thing is that she did run a good race going long on the turf last time but in here they are on the dirt and she looks very outclassed.

6. Beat To The Punch (11-6-3-0 $798.300), trained by Mb Stables

This filly looks on paper to be the one to give Misty Firefox the biggest challenge. She lead all the way in the Oaks till the end where she got passed late but still ran a very strong fourth after leading all the way. With a smaller field and not being on the lead she very easily can turn the tables on Misty Firefox.

7. Symphonic Dali (5-1-1-2 $55.870), trained by Hawaiian Shirt Guy

This filly has been running in statebred races her last two starts and ran pretty well. She ran third in a statebred stake last out but that was in a sprint race. She will need to run a race of her life to win and she will have to stretch out to the route of ground without any problems to even have a chance.

Summary

It looks like a three horse race to me with those three being Misty Firefox, Beat To The Punch and Confidently In Love. Those three are looking like the toughest ones but if someone like Snakie Sara can jump up and run the race of her life she could possibly be the biggest upset that I can see winning.
